Introduction
Cleanaway Co. Ltd. was established in 1999 between an iconic Australian company, Brambles Industries Ltd established in 1875 and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and a local Taiwanese company, Kang Lien Co. Ltd. Combining the strengths of local knowledge and the strict discipline of a well-run international company, Cleanaway very quickly established itself as the market leader in its treatment and disposal of solid industrial hazardous and non-hazardous waste through its solidification plant and well- engineered landfills. Over time Cleanaway added specially designed assets such as mercury recovery, thermal desorption processes, site remediation know-how and established itself as a one-stop-shop for its clientele. Further development in on-site soil washing techniques enabled Cleanaway to offer very large-scale site decontamination processes in-situ resulting in ability of clients to reuse sites for high value development.

Cleanaway was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 2011 and is recognised as the market leader in the industrial solids waste treatment and disposal in Taiwan. Cleanaway has also widened its scope of services to include solar power generation, high-temperature incineration of hazardous waste, WEEE recycling, and collaborating with the transportation industry through its AIoT platform to offer cost-effective solutions to clients.

CLEANAWAY hazardous waste intermediate solidification plant is responsible for the solidification process on stabilizing and detoxicating hazardous waste, transforms them into general industrial waste to reduce the potential harm to the environment. With 20 years of experience in solidification processes, we have expertise in the solidification on 42 types of diversified waste. We also conduct over 60 remediation projects through solidification processes and deliver them into our subsidiaries specializing in landfill. This provides a mechanism for high safety standards and trackable source.

Safety is the priority on a contaminated site. When a contaminated site is found, the first step is the site assessment, including information gathering, and unknown waste sample analysis to confirm the waste characteristic. Once waste location, compositions and quantities are identified, we will offer an overall waste cleaning plan minimizing resource using and the impact to the environment. After the waste is removed and well-treated, and the site is no longer listed as contaminated site, the work is completed.

Highly efficient and accurate quality analysis
Our laboratory has the capacity to handle over 200 samples weekly and analyzes waste, varestraint testing for solidification cracking susceptibility, soil and water. Looking back to our past analysis data, our laboratory not only can complete the tests within a short period of time, but also is able to maintain the accuracy and precision of the analyzed data.
High quality in testing
We provide internal training on liquid and solid blind testing annually to ensure our analysts maintain their analytical skills at the highest level and we have also received the certificate from ERA (US) on solid and liquid blind testing, which provides an opportunity to improve analysts testing approach and maintain high quality of our test results.
Waste Sample Storage
Waste samples after sampling and testing will be stored in a 500g plastic bottle as a reserved sample by our sample controller. The sample will be labelled with item code, sample date (up to 6 months) and stored in the freezer with temperature maintained at 4 ℃. The kept sample can be used to clarify any issues or disputes at later date.
